EMMA and EMMA

After the popularity of her, when known as Hermione Granger, in the movie Harry Potter, Emma Watson builds another image as a model. I have been recognizing her in many photo shoots. And I adore those stunning shoots of her.

On taking fashion risks: "There's nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you're wearing to say something about you, about who you are."

These are the behind the scene shoots when Emma prepares the photo shoots for Teen Vogue. The shy 10 years old Hermione has grown adorably beautiful!

Strawberry Shortcake

Have you ever heard of most baby girls' favourite cartoon 'Strawberry Shortcake'?

Whether you have or you haven't, I must say that turning it into fashion styles is really cute!

"I am Kim Noorda as Strawberry Shortcake by CHARLES ANASTASE"

"I am Addison Gill as Blueberry Muffin by CACHAREL"

"I am Kate Somers as Raspberry Tart by SONIA RYKIEL"

"I am Liu Wen as Plum Puddin' by PHILOSOPHY DI ALBERTA FERRETTI"

"I am Charlotte Di Calypso as Lemon Meringue by MOSCHINO CHEAP & CHIC"

For LULA Magazine: "Doll is Mine"

The Warrior Way

During these days, directors of movies are getting more and more creative. They did make innovations and modifications to movies. Take a look at Avatar which was a boom in not more than a month ago. Avatar was considered as an advanced animation and human movie combination that showed beautiful effects toward the story. However, it is not the excellent animation of Avatar that inspires designers. It is the Avatar's costume and the setting of the story line that make designers to be motivated in arising new concepts.

This has happened to one of Vogue March 2010's editorials. 'The Warrior Way' touches both ancient and future warrior and is made to be a magazine's concept. The passion and the adaptability of Daria Werbowy have contributed natural sense of tribal for the photo shoots. The Canadian lady shows perfect cultural look for the perception.

Blonde Brows and Bow

2010 make up trend mentions Blonde Brows are in.
Meanwhile, 2010 accessories trend shows Bow is in.

Patricia van der Vliet, who was one of the runner ups in Holland's next top model, models Vogue UK for this March 2010.
The combinatons of her bleached eyebrows and her fair curls fit the concept of soft colours and girlish charm shot by Mario Testino.

Cascading ruffles in a tribute to youthful femininity and bow headband have contributed perfect look to Vliet.
The pastel colors give adorable look to all the tops, dress, skirts and heels.
However, somehow the ruffles are showing a too 'full' view.
But overall, I like them!

Marloes Horst for Blanco

Marloes Horst, a beautiful model I recognize, is said to usually cast shoots that involve some kind of nudity.
I wonder what nudity was, but yeah, it's not supposed to be on a 16 years old kid's blog like me.
Then, I just took this, what is so called weird that Marloes Horst can look cute and fresh faced in Blanco's Spring 2010 Lookbook.

I heart some of the collections as well.

Back to Marloes Horst, I may say you fit these young, casual outfits!

Completions

"COMPLETION" in this context will show two completely different meanings.

First is blog header completion. The header, finally, which is made by my beloved cousin, had been cursed into its perfect size, fitting the rightest place on the top of my blog.
And I'm so thankful to my cousin, she is one of the masters of photoshop! *wink

Second is look completion with heels, which absolutely relates with this fashion blog project.
"I'm talking about heels."
Confident, that's the exact word that comes from my mind when both seeing and wearing heels.
Creative designers have all put together the inspirations and ideas to create marvelous heel designs.

Markee Plum Suede by Steve Madden

Ankle strap heels by Salvatore Ferragamo

I see that beside the mixing and matching of dresses and accessories, what makes one's appearance look gorgeous is her pointed toes on those pumps, stilettos or platforms.

Perfecto!

TOPSHOP

I was promising to make another post before and this is my second post.

I was doing my college assignment when I saw Topshop's Spring Summer Collections.

The 'PARISIENNE'

Flirty, feminine and fun, fashion has always been in love with stripes, polka dots and pearls, so get ready to fall head over heels for Parisienne glamor with flouncy dresses, boucle jackets, embroidered tees and playful accessories that have a perfect dose of ladylike cool.

The 'SALOON

Give your wardrobe a high-kick with cancan ruffles, saloon inspired frills, broiderie anglaise and delicate cutwork that fits for a cowgirl.Teamed with indigo denim, beaten up leather and casual canvas, dusty colored tulles and sun-faded prints reflect the warm, heady nights of the Wild West.

 The 'MEADOW'

Take a trip to the English countryside with billowing chiffon, with bleached denim and delicate floral that conjure up a summer's day. Toughened up with studded waistcoats, lace up boots and leather accessories, lace, crochet and intricate embroidery are given a harder edge for spring.

The 'DOWNTOWN'

Mixing experimental fabrics, futuristic shapes and sporty detailing, Downtown has a luxurious, yet pared down aesthetic. With a laid back, urban edge, slink harems with hidden zips, body con pieces in graphic prints and leggings with power mesh inserts are set to become your future classic.

I adore these collections and the beautiful mannequins.
The creativity has blended together and forms outfits sets which are appealing.
♥ 'em
